Usage Note
Antibiotico can be both a noun (un antibiotico, an antibiotic) and an adjective (una terapia antibiotica, antibiotic therapy). As a noun it is masculine; its plural is antibiotici. Italians often say fare/prendere gli antibiotici (to take antibiotics) — the article gli before a vowel is standard here.
