Usage Note

Arrecare is a formal verb most commonly found in fixed phrases: arrecare danno (to cause damage), arrecare disturbo (to cause disturbance), arrecare beneficio (to bring benefit). It is almost never used in everyday speech outside these collocations. It takes avere as auxiliary.
