Usage Note
Assomigliare takes the preposition a: assomigliare a qualcuno ('to resemble someone'). It is intransitive and takes avere as auxiliary. The reflexive assomigliarsi means to resemble each other. It is NOT reflexive in the base form — a common learner error is to add si when describing resemblance to one person.
