Usage Note
Barrare means to draw a line through something or to mark a checkbox. In official documents, barrare la casella means to tick or cross the relevant box. It is a regular first-conjugation verb. Do not confuse with sbarrare (to bar/bolt a door, or to widen one's eyes in surprise).
