Usage Note
Best is used in Italian as an invariable English loanword, mainly in marketing, music, and media: best seller, best of, album best. It does not inflect for gender or number. In standard Italian, the native equivalents are il migliore (the best, m) or la migliore (f). The anglicism is particularly common in compound expressions and commercial branding.
