Conduttore covers three fields: the conductor of an orchestra (il direttore d'orchestra is more standard, but conduttore is used), a TV or radio presenter (conduttore televisivo), and in physics an electrical conductor. The feminine is conduttrice. In everyday transport, a conduttore can also be a driver or operator of a vehicle. Context determines which sense is intended.
