Also means
fanciful
Usage Note
Fantasioso describes someone or something full of fantasy and creative invention — a bambino fantasioso is an imaginative child. It can carry a mildly negative shade when it means 'far-fetched' (una storia fantasiosa = a tall tale). Do not confuse it with fantastico, which is more about being wonderful or fantastic rather than creatively inventive.
Examples
"È un artista molto fantasioso e originale."
Natural Translation
He is a very imaginative and original artist.
