Filmico is a critical and academic adjective applied to works, language, or qualities that belong to or evoke cinema: linguaggio filmico ('filmic language'), opera filmica ('cinematic work'). It is narrower than cinematografico (which covers the industry and production) — filmico focuses on the artistic or aesthetic dimension of a film. Forms: filmica (f), filmici (m pl), filmiche (f pl).
