geniale
brilliant
adjective jeh-nee-AH-leh Rare
Origin: From Italian genio (genius) + -ale, from Latin ingenium.
Also means
ingenious
Usage Note
Geniale expresses that something or someone is brilliantly clever or inspired — stronger and more enthusiastic than intelligente. In informal speech, Italians use it as an exclamation of admiration: geniale! ('brilliant!'). It ends in -e so the plural is geniali for both genders. Do not confuse with gentile (kind, polite).
Examples
"Ha avuto un'idea davvero geniale."
Natural Translation
He had a truly brilliant idea.
