Usage Note
Immancabile describes something that never fails to appear or happen — literally 'that cannot be missing.' It is often used ironically or affectionately: l'immancabile pioggia di giugno (the inevitable June rain). Unlike inevitabile (unavoidable, often negative), immancabile can be neutral or even fond in tone.
