Indirizzare uses avere in compound tenses. It means to send something toward a destination (indirizzare una lettera) or to direct a person's attention (indirizzare le domande al responsabile). The derived noun l'indirizzo (m) means 'address' (postal) or 'direction/approach'. The double 'z' gives the 'ts' cluster.
