Usage Note

Infastidire is a regular -ire verb conjugated with -isc- infix in the present: infastidisco, infastidisci, infastidisce…. It takes avere as auxiliary. The reflexive infastidirsi means to get annoyed. It is more formal than colloquial scocciare or dare fastidio, but all three are common.
