Invio is the noun from inviare (to send) and covers the sending of a letter, parcel, email, or digital submission. On Italian websites and forms, the submit button is typically labelled Invia (send) and the confirmation message often references l'invio. Do not confuse it with arrivo (arrival), its directional opposite.
