Also means
ill-mannered
Usage Note
Maleducato literally means 'badly educated/raised' (from male + educato) and is the standard Italian word for 'rude' or 'ill-mannered'. It is NOT a false friend with English 'maleducated' — Italians use it freely for anyone lacking manners. It agrees in gender: maleducata, maleducati, maleducate.
Examples
"È stato maleducato con il cameriere."
Natural Translation
He was rude to the waiter.
