Usage Note

Poetico agrees in gender and number: poetico / poetica / poetici / poetiche. It describes both what pertains to poetry (un testo poetico, a poetic text) and what has a poetic, lyrical quality (un paesaggio poetico, a poetic landscape). The feminine plural poetiche uses '-che' to preserve the hard 'k' sound before '-e'.
