Usage Note

Prenotare takes avere as auxiliary. It is the standard verb for booking tables, hotel rooms, tickets, and appointments. The noun is prenotazione (reservation/booking). The reflexive prenotarsi is also used: mi sono prenotato per il ristorante (I booked a table at the restaurant).
