Pressi is used almost exclusively in the plural and almost always in the phrase nei pressi di ('in the vicinity of', 'near'): nei pressi della stazione ('near the station'). A singular presso exists but functions mainly as a preposition meaning 'at' or 'near'; pressi as a noun is always plural.
