Accomodare means to fix or repair something, or to make it suitable. The reflexive accomodarsi is extremely common as a polite invitation — it means 'please sit down, make yourself comfortable', as in Si accomodi! (formal) or Accomodati! (informal). It takes avere in its non-reflexive form.
