Usage Note

Aggiustare means to repair or fix a broken object, but also to adjust or correct something more generally. It uses avere as auxiliary. The reflexive aggiustarsi means to sort itself out or to make oneself presentable. Do not confuse with regolare (to regulate/adjust a setting) which is more technical.
