Bilancia is feminine (le bilance). It covers a weighing scale, the balance used in justice iconography, and the zodiac sign Libra (la Bilancia). In finance, bilancia commerciale means 'trade balance.' Do not confuse with bilancio (masculine), which means a financial balance sheet or budget.
