Capo is highly polysemous: anatomically 'head' (mal di capo, headache), a leader or boss (il mio capo, my boss), a cape/headland in geography (Capo Nord, Cape North), and the beginning of something (in capo al mondo, at the end of the world). Da capo (from the head/beginning) is used in music and everyday speech alike. Plural capi is regular.
