Consensuale means reached by mutual agreement or consent. In Italian law, separazione consensuale is an uncontested (agreed) separation or divorce, as opposed to giudiziale (contested). It is also used in medicine and psychology for a reflex that occurs in one eye when the other is stimulated: risposta consensuale.
