Usage Note
Danese functions as both adjective and noun and is invariable in gender for the singular: un uomo danese / una donna danese. The plural forms are danesi for both genders. As a noun it means 'a Dane.' Learners should note that Italian nationality adjectives are not capitalized unless used as a proper noun (the language il danese).
Examples
"Amo il design danese per la sua semplicità."
Natural Translation
I love Danish design for its simplicity.
