Debitamente derives from dovuto (due, owed) and conveys that something was done in the correct, required manner. It is formal and appears often in legal, administrative, and bureaucratic writing: debitamente firmato means 'duly signed.' In everyday speech Italians prefer come si deve or correttamente.
