Usage Note
Decidere is a second-conjugation verb with an irregular past participle: deciso. It takes avere as its auxiliary (ho deciso = I have decided). When followed by another verb it requires di + infinitive: ho deciso di partire = 'I decided to leave.' Do not omit the di.
