domattina

tomorrow morning

adverb doh-maht-TEE-nah Rare

Usage Note

Domattina is a contracted adverb formed from domani (tomorrow) + mattina (morning). It is invariable and widely used in both speech and writing: ci vediamo domattina (see you tomorrow morning). The uncontracted form domani mattina is equally correct and slightly more formal. There is no corresponding domsera for 'tomorrow evening'—Italian uses domani sera.

Examples

"Domattina partiamo presto per il viaggio."
