Esaustivo means thorough and complete, covering all aspects of a subject. It is a near-cognate of English 'exhaustive' and rarely misleads. The feminine form is esaustiva; the plural esaustivi / esaustive. A common collocation is risposta esaustiva (comprehensive answer) or analisi esaustiva (exhaustive analysis).
