Also means
to use up
Usage Note
Esaurire is a third-conjugation verb (-ire) that takes avere as its auxiliary. The reflexive esaurirsi means 'to become exhausted' or 'to run out': le scorte si sono esaurite ('the supplies ran out'). Do not confuse with stressare, which is more colloquial for emotional exhaustion.
Examples
"Questo lavoro mi ha esaurito completamente."
