Usage Note
Escluso functions both as a past participle of escludere and as a freestanding adjective meaning 'excluded' or 'not included.' Used after a noun—i bambini esclusi—or as a preposition-like qualifier: IVA esclusa ('VAT not included'). Do not confuse with incluso, its direct opposite.
