Usage Note
Europea is the feminine form of europeo (European). In Italian, adjectives of nationality are not capitalised (europeo, not Europeo), unlike in English. As a noun, un europeo/una europea means 'a European person'. The plural forms are europei (m) and europee (f). It is commonly used in phrases like Unione europea (European Union).
