Fluido agrees in gender and number: fluida, fluidi, fluide. It describes liquids, movement, prose, or situations that flow smoothly without friction. It is also used as a noun (il fluido) to mean a fluid substance. In contemporary Italian, genere fluido (gender fluid) has entered usage from English influence. Do not confuse with fluviale (relating to rivers).
