Usage Note

Fuciliere is a military rank or role referring to a soldier armed with a rifle, historically a fusilier. In the Italian armed forces, Fucilieri di Marina are naval infantry (marines). The feminine form fuciliera exists but is rarely used. Plural: fucilieri.
