Usage Note
Imbarazzante is the present-participle adjective of imbarazzare (to embarrass). It is invariable in gender: un momento imbarazzante / una situazione imbarazzante. Do not confuse with imbarazzato (embarrassed — describing the person feeling the embarrassment). The noun is imbarazzo.
