irresistible
Usage Note
Inarrestabile is a compound of the prefix in- (not) + arrestabile (stoppable), from arrestare. It is used for forces, people, or processes that cannot be halted: un progresso inarrestabile (unstoppable progress). The double 'r' reflects an intensified hold of the consonant; stress falls on the 'ta' syllable.
Examples
"La sua creatività è inarrestabile."
Natural Translation
His creativity is unstoppable.
