Usage Note
Incertezza is the abstract noun from incerto ('uncertain'); its opposite is certezza ('certainty'). It is used both for personal doubt (vivere nell'incertezza = 'to live with uncertainty') and systemic unpredictability (incertezza economica/politica). The plural incertezze is common when listing specific sources of uncertainty.
