Also means
nosy
Usage Note
Indiscreto describes a person or behaviour that is too prying or that reveals what should be kept private — a false friend for English speakers: indiscreto is NOT 'indiscreet' in the sense of lacking restraint in general, but more specifically 'nosy' or 'tactless about others' affairs'. Its opposite discreto means both 'discreet' and (separately) 'decent/fair' (un risultato discreto = a fair result). Feminine form: indiscreta; plural indiscreti/indiscrete.
Examples
"Non fare domande indiscrete agli ospiti."
Natural Translation
Don't ask indiscreet questions of the guests.
