Usage Note

Insistentemente is formed from insistente + -mente (the standard Italian adverb suffix, always unstressed). It is interchangeable with con insistenza in most contexts but sounds more formal. Use it to describe repeated requests or nagging: chiedere insistentemente = to ask repeatedly and persistently.
