Insofferenza describes a deep-seated impatience or inability to endure a situation, rule, or person — stronger than mere impazienza (impatience). Mostrare insofferenza verso le regole (to show intolerance of rules) is a fixed collocation. It does not refer to medical food intolerance (intolleranza alimentare covers that sense).
