Usage Note
Intuire means to grasp something instinctively without being told — closer to 'to sense' or 'to figure out' than to 'to know'. It is a regular -ire verb of the -isc- type: intuisco, intuisci, intuisce. It takes avere as auxiliary. Ho intuito subito che qualcosa non andava means 'I immediately sensed something was wrong'.
