Limousine in Italian refers to a luxury stretch limousine or any high-end chauffeured car. It is feminine and invariable in the plural (le limousine). In common informal speech, limo (invariable) is also used. In older Italian usage, berlina was the general term for a saloon/sedan car, but limousine now specifically implies a luxury stretched vehicle.
