Usage Note
Luna is feminine: la luna. Beyond the astronomical body it appears in many idioms: avere la luna storta (to be in a bad mood, literally 'to have the moon crooked') and luna di miele (honeymoon). The adjective lunare means lunar. Do not confuse with lune in the phrase avere le lune (to be moody).
