Usage Note
Moralmente modifies verbs and adjectives to indicate a moral dimension: moralmente responsabile ('morally responsible'), moralmente inaccettabile ('morally unacceptable'). Like most Italian adverbs ending in -mente, it is formed by adding -mente to the feminine form of the adjective (morale → moralmente). It is used in both philosophical and everyday ethical discourse.
Examples
"È moralmente responsabile delle sue azioni."
Natural Translation
He is morally responsible for his actions.
