Neoliberista is invariable in gender — un economista neoliberista / una politica neoliberista — following the pattern of -ista words. It can also be used as a noun: un neoliberista ('a neoliberal'). It describes adherence to free-market, deregulatory economic doctrine and is typically used in critical or analytical contexts in Italian public debate.
