Usage Note
Nordico describes people, places, or things from or typical of northern Europe — i paesi nordici (the Nordic countries: Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Iceland). It can also describe a physical type traditionally associated with northern Europeans. Do not confuse with settentrionale (northern, used more for compass directions and Italian regional contexts).
