Usage Note

Numerato is the past participle of numerare used as an adjective, meaning marked with a number (posto numerato — numbered seat). The feminine form is numerata, plural numerati/e. It is very common for tickets and seating arrangements: biglietto numerato (reserved/numbered ticket) as opposed to biglietto a posto libero (open seating).
