Usage Note
Obesità is invariable in the plural (le obesità is rarely used; the word functions as an uncountable noun). It is a medical and public-health term. The adjective is obeso (obese, masc.) / obesa (fem.). Note that in Italian it is l'obesità with elision because it begins with a vowel.
