Pallido (f pallida, pl pallidi/pallide) describes a person's pale complexion (ha un viso pallido = she has a pale face) and figurative paleness or weakness (una pallida idea = a faint idea, a vague notion). The idiom non avere la più pallida idea (not to have the faintest idea) is very common in everyday Italian.
