Usage Note
Perfettamente is the adverb from perfetto (perfect) and means 'perfectly' or 'exactly.' It frequently appears in conversation as a standalone affirmative: perfettamente! (exactly right! / absolutely!). It is also used in the phrase capisco perfettamente (I understand perfectly). As with all Italian adverbs ending in -mente, it is invariable.
