Usage Note
Pranzo is the main midday meal, traditionally the largest meal of the day in Italy. La pausa pranzo is the lunch break. Do not confuse with colazione (breakfast) or cena (dinner). The common phrase a pranzo means 'at lunch' or 'for lunch' without an article.
