Usage Note
Preoccupare means to worry someone (transitive), while the reflexive preoccuparsi means to worry oneself or be worried: mi preoccupo per te (I worry about you). The difference between preoccupare (to cause worry) and preoccuparsi (to feel worried) is important to get right.
